Throughout the month of June, the Deacons will be collecting gently used "interview clothes" including pants, shirts, skirts, dresses, suits, and shoes.  These items will be used at Heartland Human Care Services where member Angela Muganwa is a program manager for refugee employment.

On Pentecost Sunday, June 8, we invite the congregation to wear red to Worship Service! Red is the church color associated with the Holy Spirit, and on Pentecost we commemorate and celebrate the Spirit being poured out on the early church and on us today.

Serving as an usher at First Pres is a great way to take part in a vital ministry of the church while you're already here for worship services!
