Men’s Breakfast is a group that gathers simultaneously in-person in Room 213 and on Zoom to socialize, pray and study scripture. An Adult Education Class on the parables of Jesus will be held in Room 213 after the services on Sundays. The class will use DVD teachings by Dr. R.C. Sproul and offer time for discussion each week. Join us as we begin a new quilting project to be presented to our partners in Ukraine on the opening of their new library in Kiev. The project is a quilt by Aardvark, called “Glory to Ukraine,” a table runner that should be fun to put together.
Our prayer gatherings are held the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month on Zoom. FPCE Youth Ministry is hosting a trip to Sky Zone in Evanston (1711 Maple Avenue Evanston, IL 60201) on Friday, June 13, from 5:30 to 7:45 p.m. We will leave for Sky Zone from the church promptly at 5:30. The First Pres gymnasium (Roy Hall) will be open for use by First Pres families and their friends on the listed afternoons at 4 p.m. FPCE staff members will also be on hand to supervise for those who wish to drop off their children.

On Thursday, June 26, we will have a chance to eat out Hub’s restaurant AND raise funds for a gift for our partner, the Tavriski Christian Institute (TCI) in Ukraine. 20% of all money spent at Hub’s between 10:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. will go to TCI. PLUS our good friends at Hub’s will match

Each summer, it's become a tradition to hold one of our worship services out in our parking lot, providing variety while making us a little more visible to our wonderful neighbors. The service begins at 10 a.m. We will have folding chairs available but encourage those who can to bring their own to do so.
An annual summer tradition, our Deacons' Hot Dog Social will take place Sunday, June 29, immediately after our outdoor worship service. The Deacons will serve all-beef hot dogs with buns and a variety of condiments. A limited amount of gluten free buns will also be available. Lemonade will also be available. We will have folding
