Throughout the month of June, the Deacons will be collecting gently used “interview clothes” including pants, shirts, skirts, dresses, suits, and shoes.  These items will be used at Heartland Human Care Services where member Angela Muganwa is a program manager for refugee employment. Items should be in good condition and ready to wear. Bring them on hangers directly to the rack in the basement or drop them at the front desk. Angela says polo shirts and plain tee-shirts without text (for men) are also welcome. Additionally, Heartland is collecting children’s books so please drop those off as well.

Questions: Please contact Joel Bregman at 847-476-0116 or ten.labolgbs@6akjkj.  These donations can help refugees get the jobs they want and need so that they will become independent in the months and years to come. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
