Interfaith Action of Evanston will host its 6th Annual family-friendly Walk for Warmth on Monday, January 20, 2025, on the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. FPCE Youth will be among those taking part in this year’s walk. Anyone else interested in walking and raising support may register here (where donations are also being accepted). This year we will have two walking options: the traditional 2-mile central Evanston walk past faith communities that host the overnight shelter in rotation and, new this year, a short walk around the block. The walk is held each year to raise awareness of homelessness in the Evanston community and (through donations) help Interfaith Action provide safe, warm and dry places for our unhoused neighbors to sleep.
