Small Groups

Let’s Meet

Groups for Adults
In All Seasons of Life

Everything we do at First Pres is geared to growing in Christ, as individuals, families, and as a church! Small groups play a key role in that growth and we provide options for everyone.

Everyone at First Pres is encouraged to join a Small Group. Group members not only make meaningful connections, but all are offered genuine support in times of personal need.

Groups usually meet regularly in members’ homes. Some have a mixture of ages and current life stages, while others purposefully are more homogeneous, such as “empty nesters” and couples with young children. Typical meetings involve discussions of sections of the Bible or a religious topic, praying for personal concerns, and enjoying refreshments.

Leadership often rotates. Groups may form spontaneously, or the small group committee may assist in making connections. Most people feel enriched through this experience.
