First Presbyterian Evanston, in partnership with Interfaith Action of Evanston, will host the Emergency Overnight Shelter for three weeks this winter. In 2026, we will welcome 30 guests (men and women). Please sign up! The dates for 2026 winter season for First Pres are January 25th through February 23.

We’ll need volunteers for set up each night and clean up each morning. It’s a great small group opportunity, too! You can also volunteer at other faith communities throughout the November-May season. The link to signup is here.
