FPCE Building Rental Request

It will result in a smoother, more enjoyable event experience here at First Pres. Please allow 72 hours for our Events Manger to respond back to you. Questions? Event Info

For concert-type events, please note the anticipated number of performers as well as the anticipated number of audience members

The parking lot contains up to 90 available spaces, depending on Church need. Please request the amount of spaces you anticipate needing for your event.
Please note that First Pres REQUIRES two adults be present in any room that children under 18 are present.(Required)

Will you be using any FPCE Instruments?(Required)
Do you want the piano tuned for your event?(Required)
The FPCE's pianos are tuned regularly, however if you would like the piano to be professionally tuned the week of your performance, it is an additional $250 fee.
If you require an A/V setup, please include that information in your diagram.

Wedding Specific Questions

A/V Needs

Will you have any A/V needs?(Required)
This includes ANY AND ALL A/V needs, such as a microphone, projector, TV, speakers/PA system, recording, etc.

An audio/visual engineer from First Presbyterian is REQUIRED if the event requires any use of First Presbyterian's A/V equipment (microphones, projectors, etc). The A/V engineer rates are as follows:

$350 flat half day rate (4 hours)
$650 flat day rate (8 hours)

Below is an “a la carte” menu for additional services that may be desired by the renter. These services are all optional. Food Service

If a caterer will be utilized at the event, a current license and caterer site visit to First Pres will be required. Please note that serving or consuming alcoholic beverages is NOT permitted on First Pres' building or grounds. Groups bringing their own food will be expected to supply their own plates, utensils, serving dishes, etc. NO FOOD IS ALLOWED in the Sanctuary and Walker Chapel

Certificate of Insurance

Please note that our Resource Management Council requires a Certificate of Liability Insurance in order to request use of the First Pres Building. Do you have a Certificate of Insurance?(Required)

If you don't have your certificate at this time, that's ok–you don't need to upload it right now. Just skip this upload. Please still submit this form. *Note that First Pres Members and Ministries are NOT required to provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance.*

Additional Policies

Please note 50% of the total event fee will be due within 72 hours of signing a contract with First Pres. The balance will be due on the event date. If you need to cancel your event, please do so no less than 1 week before your event. All cancellations with at least 1 week's notice are fully refundable.(Required)

Please note that the following events will REQUIRE a meeting with our Facilities Manager, Andy Wallgren, at least one month before the event date:

  • • Events meeting or exceeding 25 attendees
  • • Events open to the public
  • • Events outside of normal business hours
  • • Events using multiple rooms
  • • Events involving the Sanctuary, kitchen or Walker Chapel
  • • Events bringing a caterer

The form that you have completed is merely a request for an event at First Presbyterian Church of Evanston, not a booked event. Your event is not officially booked until you have heard from our Events Manager, signed a contract and made a down payment.
