Registration is now open for Family Camp, which takes place Friday, June 26 (4:00 pm) – Sunday, June 28 (12:00 pm), 2026 Camp Stronghold, 1922 N IL Rte 2, Oregon, IL 61061.
Family Camp is a weekend built for parents and their kids to unplug, play, and grow in faith together. Whether you’re parenting a newborn, chasing a toddler, wrangling elementary-schoolers, navigating the middle school years, or welcoming your college student home for the summer, this retreat is for your family.
It’s also a chance to connect with other families in our church — including parents a few steps ahead of you who’ve already made it through whatever stage you’re in right now. Some of the best parenting wisdom comes from a casual conversation around the bonfire with someone whose kids are a little older than yours, and we’ve built in dedicated parent breakout times so those conversations can actually happen.
This year our new pastor will be leading worship and devotions throughout the weekend — a meaningful chance to gather as families and grow together in faith.
Saturday is packed with camp activities run by the camp staff: a high ropes course (ages 12 and up), archery, an art station, geocaching, hiking, and more. Whether your kid wants to challenge themselves up in the trees or settle in at the art table, there’s something for every age and personality.
Here’s the best part for the grown-ups: this isn’t rough-it camping. You’ll stay in air-conditioned, hotel-style rooms with en suite bathrooms. Camp staff prepare every meal and clean up after. You just show up and eat. No packing lunches, no dishes, no one asking you what’s for dinner.
Come make memories with your family and ours. We’d love to have you.
