Come Participate in our Advent Prayer Wall!
Prayer is a powerful way to connect with God, and there are many ways to approach Him in prayer. Here are five types of prayer you can try:
- Adoration – Purple – Praising God for who He is – To express love and admiration.
- Confession – Green – Bringing our mistakes to God and seeking His forgiveness – To seek mercy and forgiveness
- Thanksgiving – Red – Giving thanks for His blessings and presence – To thank God for blessings
- Supplication – Orange – Asking for God’s guidance, help, or healing for ourselves and others – To seek God’s help
- Intercession – Blue – Praying on behalf of others, lifting them up to God – To seek help for others
Feel free to write a prayer for any of these purposes, roll up your prayer and stick it into the chicken wire. The prayers that get put into the prayer wall do not get read (we value your privacy) however we will do a celebration of how prayers have been answered!
Our prayer wall will remain up through December, so feel free to add your prayers. In the New Year, we’ll come together for a special prayer celebration to reflect on and rejoice in the prayers God has answered. Let’s support one another and look forward to seeing how God moves in our lives!
