New Youth Confirmation Class Begins September 13
Dear Parents,
We are excited to invite your youth to participate in this year’s Confirmation class.
Confirmation Class, is open this year to our ninth graders, or to anyone above that age who hasn’t gone through Confirmation Class in the past. If you happen to know someone in this age group who’s interested in joining, please feel free to contact me, or Pastor Derek, or any OCOF council member.
What is Confirmation?
In the Presbyterian Church (USA), Confirmation is a journey where youth explore taking the next step in their faith: affirming Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, being baptized (or reaffirming their faith), and covenanting to live out that faith in our church community as a member. It is an invitation to step deeper into faith community.
