Overview: The Music Librarian assists First Presbyterian Evanston in accomplishing its mission: To know Christ and to grow in him as we serve and make disciples in Evanston, the Chicago area, and the world. The person in this position ensures that the music library is maintained so that music ministry runs smoothly at FPCE. 


  • Music library has been organized and maintained monthly. 
  • Music has been cataloged and filed within the organizational system as needed. 
  • Music has been located and set out before rehearsals as needed. 

Relationships, Team Composition:

The Music Librarian reports to the Director of Worship and Music. 

Time Commitment: 2-3 Hours per Month

Special Talents, Skills Preferred: Ability and desire to organize and keep things organized, desire to serve. 

Resources, Training Provided: Orientation to FPCE music library by the Director of Worship and Music.
