Taizé Lenten Services set for March 1, 15, and 29
Please join us in-person or via Zoom for our Taizé Worship Services, held in Walker Chapel at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays March 1, 15, and 29. This one-hour service of contemplative simple song, Scripture Reading, and prayer is a meaningful way to walk with Christ and each other on our Lenten journeys. If you are not able to join us in-person, the link will be posted on the firstpresevanston.org website shortly before the service begins.
Lent Teaching Series at First Pres – 2023
In keeping with the mission of our church–to know Jesus, grow in him, and make disciples…, — we have been spending 2023 focused on living as one of Jesus’ disciples by knowing him with our head, heart and hands. Our Lenten sermon series moves us from knowing the heart of Jesus to the practical, action-oriented response of serving like him. You can look back at the entire series here.
