Help Refugee Families: Provide Essential Groceries
Federal changes to SNAP have affected eligibility for refugee families across the Chicago area, leaving hundreds of families without critical food support.
You can help provide urgently needed groceries to a refugee family through Exodus World Service. This meaningful opportunity is open to individuals, families, and groups of friends who want to support a local refugee family as they rebuild their lives.
How It Works
- Sign up as an individual, family, or group.
- Receive information about a family in need and a shopping list from Exodus staff.
- Purchase culturally appropriate groceries.
- Deliver the groceries during a visit facilitated by an Exodus representative.
A grocery donation of approximately $100 can make a significant difference for a family experiencing food insecurity.
