This Sunday, our teaching will be brought by The Rev. Dr. Sasan Tavassoli, an ordained Presbyterian minister and missionary with the Outreach Foundation to the Persian‑speaking world. A former Shi’ite Muslim from Iran, he came to faith in Christ in 1985 while living in Europe. For more than two decades, he has served Iranian Christians as a pastor, teacher, and theologian, with a primary focus since 2006 on daily Farsi Christian broadcasts aired by satellite into Iran and around the world. Dr. Tavassoli is also deeply involved in leadership training and theological education for Iranian house churches and travels widely to preach and equip leaders.
