December 21 – Fourth Sunday of Advent, Come and Sing Sunday – Carol Sing Edition
YOU’RE invited to make a joyful noise with the Choir on our next Come and Sing Sunday – Carol Sing Edition!
On this special morning, the choir will lead the congregation in the 4th Sunday of Advent Worship Service with the beloved First Pres traditional Carol Sing. We’ll welcome a resonant and joyful brass ensemble to lead us. Come sing with the choir that morning right next to the brass! No choir rehearsal is needed outside of Sunday morning. Come join the fun at 8:45 a.m. for music rehearsal, and then we will share in the service together at 10:30 a.m. If you would like to attend Adult Education Sunday School when it begins at 9:15 a.m., you can do that!
If you’d like any music in advance, contact Hannah at gro.notsnaveserptsrif@llennoccmh.
As we lift our voices in carols, we’ll also turn our hearts toward the meaning of Advent, we’ll reflect on Matthew 1:18–25 with the message:
“When You’re Afraid, Give Me Your Hand.”
We’ll also light the fourth Advent candle, marking the final step in our journey toward the celebration of Christ’s birth. Bring your family and friends as we prepare our hearts for the joy of Christmas!
Join us on Sunday—you won’t want to miss this joyful celebration!
