November 30 – “Do Not Be Afraid”
Luke 1:5–13

Join us as we begin the Advent season together! Our message, “Do Not Be Afraid,” will draw us into the story of hope that starts in Luke’s Gospel.

We’ll also light the first Advent candle. Bring your family and friends as we prepare our hearts for Christmas and celebrate the start of this beautiful season.

Classes and Worship Service will go on as scheduled at First Presbyterian Church of Evanston despite the snowfall blanketing the area. Rev. Dr. Tassie Green will lead the Advent Adult Education Class at 9:15 a.m. Our Sunday service, including the lighting of the first Advent Candle, will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary. It will also be streamed live at https://live.firstpresevanston.org.

Our youth class, also scheduled for 9:15 a.m., will take place in person in Room 206 and on Zoom.
