Celebrate the Resurrection with Us

Come and rejoice with us this Easter Sunday as we celebrate the good news at the heart of our faith: Christ is risen!

Our Easter worship service is filled with joy, hope, and the promise of new life. Whether you’ve been part of First Pres for decades or are visiting for the first time, you are warmly invited to join us for this celebration of God’s redeeming love.

Scripture for the Day

John 20:1–18

In this beautiful resurrection story, we witness:

  • Mary Magdalene discovering the empty tomb at dawn
  • Peter and John running to see for themselves
  • The confusion and wonder of those early moments
  • Mary’s encounter with the risen Jesus, whom she mistakes for the gardener
  • Jesus calling her by name — and her joyful response:
    “I have seen the Lord!”

This passage invites us to discover the hope, renewal, and life Jesus offers to each one of us.
