Scripture for the Day
John 20:1–18
In this beautiful resurrection story, we witness:
- Mary Magdalene discovering the empty tomb at dawn
- Peter and John running to see for themselves
- The confusion and wonder of those early moments
- Mary’s encounter with the risen Jesus, whom she mistakes for the gardener
