Help Local Students Start the School Year Ready to Learn

The Board of Deacons is once again partnering with Family Focus of Evanston to provide 27 local students with new backpacks filled with essential school supplies for the upcoming school year.

For many families, the cost of school supplies can be a challenge. Through the Backpack Project, we can help ensure that students begin the year equipped, confident, and ready to succeed.

How You Can Help

The Deacons are seeking to raise $2,400 to cover the cost of backpacks and supplies for all 27 students.

Every gift, large or small, helps make a difference in the life of a child and supports families in our community.
