First Presbyterian Missions

Our vision is to empower and equip every member of FPCE to be Christ’s witnesses locally and globally. We do this by engaging with our partners; focusing on relational and cross-cultural outreach ministries in areas of disparities with vulnerable people groups (locally and internationally); focusing our funds on those serving in full time ministry, mainly in unreached areas; and providing education that is relevant and equipping in nature.

MISSION PRAYER

August 7th, 2025

Join us in praying for our mission partner, Bethlehem Bible College, a place of light and hope in the land where Jesus was born. We thank God for your faithful witness in the midst of conflict and hardship. As they teach, lead, and serve in Bethlehem and beyond, we pray that Your Spirit would continue to guide them.

We Praise You, Lord, for:

  • The faithful ministry of Rev. Dr. Andrew Bush and the Bethlehem Institute of Peace and Justice.
  • The completion and sharing of the 2024 Annual Ministry Report, showing Your work through the college.
  • The Spiritual Formation Conference, where students grew in joy, worship, and Christ-centered reflection.
  • The launch of Christ in the Rubble by Rev. Dr. Munther Isaac, boldly proclaiming hope in the midst of war.
  • The Summer Intensive Course in Peacemaking and Justice, where international students encountered truth and solidarity.
  • The dedication of faculty, staff, and students living out their faith in a place deeply marked by pain and resilience.

We Pray to You, Lord, for:

  • Your continued blessing over Bethlehem Bible College fill it with peace, wisdom, and protection.
  • The summer programs language classes, outreach, and childrens camps to be fruitful and life-giving for the community.
  • The people of Gaza bring protection, healing, comfort, and a just and lasting peace.
  • High school students preparing for the Tawjihi exams, especially those in Gaza give them strength, clarity, and hope despite every hardship.
  • Open hearts around the world to support and share in the mission of Bethlehem Bible
  • College through prayer, giving, and advocacy.
