Longtime First Pres members Rick and Charlene Parris have been named as the church’s 2025 Vision Keepers. Members since 2012 both have been active in all areas of church life at First Presbyterian Evanston. Charlene has been a leader of the Overnight Shelter ministry, a member of Stephen’s Ministry, and is a communion server. Rick is an Elder, serving on the Resource Management Council and chairing the Finance and Endowment Council for many years. He is also a communion server. The two of them will be honored at the annual Interfaith Action of Evanston Vision Keeper Dinner on Sunday, October 26. Tickets are $90 per person and payments should be made to First Presbyterian Evanston. Some scholarships are available.
