A Christmas tradition at First Pres Evanston, Prison Fellowship’s Angel Tree has been generously supported by our congregation for many years.  For the past two years due the pandemic, First Pres has participated in the program “virtually,” and the Deacons have decided to follow that method one more year.

Angel Tree’s goal is to connect parents in prison with their child, and in that connection to show and share the love of God.  Entering prison means leaving behind families, including young children. Through Angel Tree, inmates are able to give their child a Christmas message of love, ask for forgiveness, and take a step toward repairing or strengthening their relationship.

Your contribution will provide a gift package that includes a prepaid gift card, a personal message from the parent, an age-appropriate Gospel message, and an opportunity to request a Bible.

Please support Angel Tree by sponsoring an Angel.  First Pres’ unique and secure link to Virtual Angel Tree can be found here. We are supporting 85 Angels and their families this year, and we hope that all of our commitments will be fulfilled by Sunday, December 11. Thank you for your support and generosity.
