The Supper of the Lamb: A culinary reflection by Robert Farrar Capon. a passionate and talented chef who also happens to be an Episcopalian priest comes this surprising and thought-provoking treatise on everything from prayer to poetry to puff pastry. Join Richard Bell with this tasty and reflective read and then cook some of the recipes for a church agape meal.
The Wednesday Wars by Gary D Schmidt. A wonderfully witty and compelling story about a teenage boy’s mishaps and adventures over the course of the 1967-68 school year in Long Island, New York. This is a timeless favorite of kids and adults. Hosted by Kim Langois.
What Matters? by Wendell Berry. For too long, economics have been the private domain and rarified air of analysts and experts. Refeshingly, Berry helps to re-imagine and ground economics as the daily practices of households and local communities striving to adapt to nature, to land, and to one another.
